Hi, I’m Dr. Rich
I’ve been a chiropractor since 2010, but my practice has never really stayed inside the lines of a single modality. From early on, I found myself drawn to a deeper question: what does it actually take for a person to heal? Not just manage a symptom, but genuinely reorganize — and find their way back to themselves.
That question has shaped everything. It led me into Organic Intelligence trauma coaching, Theta Healing, Reiki, and Five Spirit medicine. Each of these modalities, in my view, is part of the same conversation — the body’s innate wisdom expressing itself through different languages. I love learning, and I love going deep. My practice reflects that.
Training & Background
I earned my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from National University of Health Sciences in Chicago, Illinois in 2009, and I’ve been licensed in California ever since. Structurally, my clinical focus is myofascial release, diversified adjusting, and active mobilization — with a strong interest in how the structural and energetic dimensions of health intersect.
I’ve been studying Organic Intelligence since 2018 and hold multiple OI coaching certifications, and am currently working toward the OI Heart Coach designation. I’ve been practicing Theta Healing since 2016, and bring additional training in Reiki and Five Spirit medicine to the work.
The Way I See It
I believe the body is not broken. It’s doing its best to protect and regulate itself with the resources it has. My job — across all of what I do — is to create the conditions where the system can recognize its own wholeness and reorganize toward greater ease. I’ve seen this happen again and again, and it never gets old.
“The body holds everything — stress, history, patterns, wisdom. The physical work, the nervous system work, the energy work: they’re all part of the same conversation.”
When I’m Not in the Treatment Room
You’ll find me outside. I spend as much time in nature as I can — hiking, surfing, catching a CrossFit class, moving my body through the world. I have a deep meditation and spiritual practice that grounds everything else. I’m an avid reader and a committed student of life; I genuinely love to learn, and I bring that curiosity into my work every day.
And then there’s Ben — my dog, my companion, my co-pilot. He’s a regular presence in the treatment room and has yet to meet a client he didn’t love.
